Nick Tomaino is currently on the business development group at Coinbase, and is also the first-year business school college student at the Yale School associated with Management. Prior to that, this individual worked in venture capital, most recently for Softbank Capital.
With Facebook’ s $ 19bn purchase making headlines yesterday, WhatsApp has become the first truly effective consumer technology company to avoid advertising as a business model.
Instagram and a few other earlier stage companies have been obtained advert-free (and thus without revenue), however, WhatsApp generates millions of dollars directly from its users and has always been committed to protecting these customers from advertising.
