Blocked Bitcoin Websites Fight Government Censorship in Russian Court

Bitcoin web sites blacklisted by the Russian government brought their case before a judge today in an effort to overturn a choice that has restricted domestic access to their domains.

Members of bitcoin news site BTCsec.com and exhibit business Smile Exposition were supposedly in participation at the hearing. The Russian government has submitted a petition to dismiss a grievance submitted by the web sites, two of six that are currently being obstructed by the government.

Smile Expo suggested that its website was utilized for the dissemination of information about its conferences, not cryptocurrency typically, negating the main argument. By comparison, BTCsec took the stance that, in spite of a standing proposal to prohibit the release of info on the innovation, it is still free to talk about the topic publicly.Continue reading at
