Bitcoin Item of the Week: MunchPak Provides Delicious Snacks for Bitcoin

The Bitcoin product of the week series from Bitcoin Magazine highlights some of the cool, fascinating, or funny things you can purchase with bitcoin. Exactly what should we cover next week? Let us know at

The Bitcoin Magazine team just recently had the chance to review MunchPak, a month-to-month membership service that curates junk food from all over the world and ships them to your doorstep – – all for bitcoin. Whether you’re an unhealthy food aficionado, an explorer of unique tastes, or simply bored with your typical snacking options, the MunchPak is developed to amuse and satisfy an adventurous palette.

Our one box included twelve random treats from all around the globe – – meaninged that that we typically needed to rate exactly what was it was we were offered.

For instance, the Sugary food Potato Shaped Snacks from Korea turned out to be a sweet and crispy Korean cookie treat reminiscent of French Toast Crunch in flavor.

Another candy had the chewy structure of lime-flavored Starburst, but with a thin layer of creme filling on the in. We’re not sure exactly what it was called or where it came from, but it was definitely a hit.

Other staff favorites included the Japanese soda pop sweets and the chocolate-filled cookies (most likely – – somebody ate them all prior to we had a chance to attempt them!) The only treat we unanimously did not like was a supposedly mango-flavored gummy, formed like a turkey leg and covered in cayenne pepper.

MunchPak boxes can be found in three different sizes (Mini, Original and Family Pak) and are adjustable. There is a choice to send them as a gift, which could be a fun treat for students disappearing to college.

Boxes ship worldwide within 72 hours (with free shipping within the US), though they can take around 5 business days to arrive when they ship, depending upon customs. MunchPak accepts payment by PayPal, charge card or bitcoin.
