You need to make the script executable for that user or write the
interpreter shell (maybe “sh”) in front of it.

i downloaded an updated copy of diablominer from this guy bitcointalk (.)
org/index (.) php?topic=8994.140 and tried to connect to the new
stratum.bitcoin.cz address posted on the mining.bitcoin.cz website,
terminal just repeats this message over and over, even when i close and
reopen diablo and go to configuration ERROR: Cannot connect to
stratum.bitcoin.cz: Unexpected end of file from server
Well, that takes you really long to explain. On Mac, you can simply type
“cd ” and drag the desired folder inside the Terminal window – that will
insert the necessary path. You should’ve pointed that out. I watched until
the middle of the video and found you were still explaining folder paths…
when i open it it wont let me put in commands and will a Intel GMA X3100
144 MB card work?
That’s definitely not bad, I have a pretty decent Nvidia card and I get 20
MH/s max. You must have a decent ATI card I’m guessing?
On my mac im given the option to select Fps and work size? how does
changing the fps affect mining?
ahhh, alright well thats fine, looks like ill have to fire up bootcamp, but
looking at that thing that said how much my gpu would hash I think ill wait
till I either get a new computer or I get the butterfly labs 5 gh/s miner
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get into the shop, and now I won’t have
access to a Mac for a while. Everything I’m finding says it shouldn’t work
on 10.6, so now I’m wondering if the computer I did it on had 10.7.
well, my computer also is like 5 years old sooo… not the best hash rate
😛 but the asics do look pretty sweet and get some nice hash rates and if
everything stays around the same for when I can get one theres around an
estimated .2 btc per day though thatll go down once all the asics are
actually out

I am assuming that because spelled api.bitocoin.cz wrong, you wrote
api.bitocin.cz that he can’t find the file the program is looking for. Thus
it is throwing zoo a null pointer exception(means there is nothing there
matching the given file name )

Dude my command window is just like yours with the hacker font and the
opaque-ness…lol Anyway I think I almost have this down…I made an
account, registered a worker…then went to check my card. So it looks like
this can only be done on 10.6, IS THIS TRUE?! Cause that sucks if I did all
this and made a bitcoin account and can’t make any virtual money back from
it. Is there any way to do this without spending the money to upgrade my
OS?! THANKS!!
