Japanese Scholars Draft Proposal for a Better Bitcoin

A group of Japanese analysts has published a paper with a set of propositions it states would improve bitcoin, effectively producing a hypothetical low-volatility digital currency called ‘enhanced bitcoin’ (IBC).

The paper, authored by four scholars from various Japanese universities, was published by the Institute of Economic Research at Tokyo’s Hitotsubashi University.

The work checks out the trouble of bitcoin’s instability from an economic perspective, suggesting a brand-new financial policy rule– efficiently, monetary policy without a central bank — for supporting the values of bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.Continue reading at CoinDesk
